This Privacy Policy explains how Coupon Validation App processes information when merchants install and use the App on their Shopify store.

What data we access

• Discount data (e.g., price rules and discount codes) via Shopify APIs, read-only.

What data we do not access

• No customer personal data
• No orders or payment information
• No browsing analytics outside the App itself

How we use the data

We use discount information solely to validate coupon codes and determine applicability for a given store. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties.

Data storage & retention

The App does not store customer or order data. Operational data required by Shopify (such as app sessions and access tokens) are used to communicate with Shopify APIs and are removed when the app is uninstalled or no longer required.

Security

Webhooks and proxy requests are verified with HMAC signatures and all communication with Shopify occurs over HTTPS.
